Child Safety

Sunfish Swim Academy Singapore endeavour to teach the aqua-phobic (those who have an innate fear of water) basic swimming techniques so they can swim confidently and safely, and at the same time develop the swimming capbilities of those who love swimming.

Through our comprehensive swimming programme, both children and adult learners will gain proficiency in the SwimSafer programme of principles of movement in water, stroke development, survival skills, rescue skills in SwimSafer programme and Swimming Test.

Our Sunfish Swim Academy Singapore Instructor

Jim is the founder for Sunfish Swim Academy Singapore and Sunfish Dive Adventurer, was also the supported swim and dive team for kids junior scuba tryout held during Asian Dive Expo 2013. Jim is a full-time swimming and scuba dive instructor with more than 15 years of professional experience. Passion (empowering children swim confidently), flexibilty (adapting to each child's pace) nd patience have helped Jim to build rapport with, earn respect of, children who addresses Jim affectionately as Üncle Jim.

Sticking to his coaching philosophy of Safety, Patience, Competency, Confidence and Fun, Jim uses variety of effective water familiarisation techniques and to ensure that children get the most out of each swimming lesson.
