SwimSafer Awards
At Sunfish Swim Academy Singapore
all children swimming lesson follow the SwimSafer Awards System which is approved by the Singapore Sports Council. Our swimming lesson are follow with their SwimSafer criteria program.
All children with Sunfish Swim Academy Singapore mustbe able to perform certain strokes, they will also learn and arrange for the SwimSafer proficiency test. They wil gradually upgrade to different level each time they pass a test. All the SwimSafer Awards are recognised at all swimming schools in singapore.
SwimSafer Stage 1 & 2
Children will be taught about water safety and will learn basic swimming strokes such as front crawl and breaststroke. Rhythmic breathing techniques and streamlined gliding will also be introduced during the lesson.
SwimSafer Stage 3 & 4
During these stage, more technique will be introduced and hlep the children to swim using new strokes such as front crawl, breaststroke sidestroke & survival back & backstroke.
SwimSafer Stage 5 & 6
Once your child has passes through the beginner and intermediate stage, they will learn to swim more advanced stroke such as butterfly and prepare themselves for the SwimSafer Silver and Gold Awards.
